- Exporting Parts of MenuBars
- ---------------------------
-
- This package updates Frontier 1.0 so it can create a new kind of
- double-clickable desktop script that contains part of a menu bar and all
- scripts linked into that menu bar. This may seem a bit esoteric for right now,
- but we have some new software coming (real soon!) that will make this
- capability very useful, even essential.
-
-
- How to Install
- --------------
-
- 1. Launch Frontier.
-
- 2. Double-click on the Installer script. Click on OK at all the confirmation
- prompts.
-
-
- How to Export a SubMenuBar
- --------------------------
-
- 1. Open the menu bar window you want to export from.
-
- 2. Click on the menu, sub-menu or command that you want to export.
-
- 3. Select the "Export SubMenuâ•”" command from the MenuBar menu.
-
- 4. Enter a file name and choose a folder in the standard file dialog that
- appears.
-
- The SubMenuBar is imported in the usual way -- by double-clicking on it in the
- Finder. It's nothing more than a desktop script.
-
- As usual, comments, questions and suggestions are welcome on CompuServe at GO
- USERLAND and on AppleLink at UserLand Discussions under the Third Parties icon.
